Skills GUI
A desktop companion for discovering, inspecting and managing coding-agent skills.

Product interface · staged presentation
Problem & context
A growing collection of agent skills needs more than a list of folders: people need to understand instructions, scope, ownership and the consequences of an action.
My contribution
Built a desktop library and discovery experience around the official Skills CLI, with instruction previews, provenance, reviewed operations and read-only health diagnostics.
Decisions & tradeoffs
Keep the official CLI responsible for installation, removal and updates.
Use typed, validated IPC for desktop actions while keeping repository, user, harness and system ownership distinct.
Make changes observable and recoverable.
Persist action history and immutable payload snapshots; support restoration only when current identity, captured payload and CLI tracking can be verified.
Outcome
A macOS application bringing discovery, instruction previews, action history and recoverable snapshots into one place.
